- Control your portions. If you are not ready to make a change in what you eat, at least pay attention to the size of your meals. In a restaurant you usually receive a huge plate that you can barely finish, but this does not stop you from eating. From now on, order only half of what you usually order; you will feel satisfied but without all those extra calories.
- Cook at home; in this way you will be able to control the number of calories that you eat and the portions you put on your own plate.
- Give up sugary drinks. One can of soda contains at least 7 teaspoons of sugar. You surely don’t need this in your diet, especially if you want to enjoy a dessert after lunch. Replace sugary drinks with natural juices that are tasty and contain the vitamins that you actually need.
- Drink water. You’ve heard this hundreds of times if you’ve heard it once. Maybe you don’t realize how important it is. When you drink water, your body can properly digest the food, you have more energy, and your body will store less fat. Keep a bottle of water with you and take a sip from it every few minutes. By the end of the day you will finish the 2 liters that you need daily.
